Frankfurt, Germany

So, what does Frankfurt, Germany, have to do with anything??? Apparently it's a happening place this time of year or something! Our dossier has been lounging about there since the 29th of June! FedEx has an estimated delivery date of July 4th by 6 pm. Well, that's less than 9 hours to make it 2915 miles "as the crow flies" from Frankfurt to Tashkent. Figuring that's at least 3000+ miles the way the camel walks.... I have no idea what FedEx is thinking!!!

Oh please FedEx... don't you dare lose this package!

Hi Lisa,

What a neat web site!

But the section of "some days it hurts to be a parent" brought tears to my eyes. You are a brave woman and a wonderful Mother. If there is any way I can help in the next many difficult months, please don't hesitate to ask. I will be quite worried about Mike and pray he returns home safe to you and your wonderful children.

Can't wait to see pictures of your future "daughter". I am hoping that someone will join you in your trip to bring her home!

It was great to see you, Mike and the boys last night. I enjoyed celebrating Matthew's 5th birthday with everyone. He is quite a friendly and outgoing guy. Sean is growing up to be a fine young man and is so handsome (he's going to have lots of girls chasing him), and Jonathan is just adorable and such a happy little boy. You and Mike must be so proud!

I will keep a close eye on this web site and look forward to be able to correspond and know how you all are doing.

Hope the balance of your trip was fun and safe!

Love,
Aunt Nancy
